Non-Profit Awareness & Engagement

This prematurity-focused non-profit delivers services on a large scale with a lean team and needed someone to step into a communications role. We addressed day-to-day digital and offline marketing needs while also optimizing digital growth to increase the organization’s reach from tens of thousands to millions. We developed and regularly reassessed their digital strategy. And we worked with leadership to ID communications opportunities that broadened awareness of programs and priorities before transforming these into trackable campaigns. As a result, the core team was free to focus on serving the organization’s target population and the number of families served has gone up year over year.  

Audience Acquisition & Influencer Marketing

The startup Hello Mamas needed to grow the userbase in an app that connected likeminded local moms for socialization and support but their budget was locked up in development. To help them meet their goals, we developed organic, content-driven user acquisition strategies that included SEO, inbound marketing, influencer marketing, and audience engagement based on brand partnerships. We also delivered on these strategic partnerships that involved brands like GB and Dorel Juvenile Group, creating content geared towards driving results—such as leads, subscribers, awareness, and other metrics. As a result, the Hello Mamas userbase grew to 100,000+ members without a big marketing spend.  

Rebranding & Community Building

The relatively young nonprofit HeyHashi, which a hub of daily connections, monthly webinars and yearly summits for people with Hashimoto’s, needed help growing beyond its local beginnings. We co-managed a full rebrand, transitioning the organization from Hashimoto's Awareness to HeyHashi while also developing creative and compelling content for customer-facing marketing and educational materials. Additionally, we developed and executed on digital fundraising campaigns, launched their email marketing efforts, and helped them create and delivered on specialized marketing partnerships with sponsors like Bob's Red Mill. As a result, HeyHashi began serving a much larger audience and managing an active social community.
